This LMT Defense MARS-HS pairs a fully ambidextrous semi-auto lower with a 16-inch 7.62x51 short-stroke piston MWS monolithic upper. It features LMT's quick-change barrel system with dual cross-bolts and a continuous T-marked top rail. The rifle is in excellent condition and includes one 20-round SR-25 pattern Magpul PMAG.
The MARS-HS lower delivers true ambidexterity, including an ambidextrous bolt catch/release, ambidextrous magazine release, and ambidextrous safety selector. It uses the SR-25 pattern magazine interface for broad magazine compatibility.
The 16-inch upper is LMT's MWS monolithic design in aluminum, integrating the upper receiver and handguard for rigidity. The quick-change barrel system uses dual cross-bolts for secure retention and fast barrel swaps. A continuous T-marked top rail with numbered slots provides consistent mounting reference points.
The steel barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port flash hider. The rifle operates on a short-stroke gas piston system. A dust cover is present.
Furniture includes a collapsible 6-position stock with a QD sling socket and a textured pistol grip. The receivers are aluminum with a black anodized finish. Made in the USA.
