The stainless, cold-hammer-forged 22 inch barrel features a tapered sporter profile and a threaded muzzle capped by a knurled protector. The matte bead-blast finish on both barrel and receiver reduces glare while maintaining a clean, uniform appearance.
The Super Deluxe Walnut stock is made from Turkish walnut with cut checkering for a confident hold. It is accented by a laminated forend tip and grip cap, plus an inlaid Howa logo plate and sling swivel studs. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
The action uses a forged bolt and machined receiver with an M16-style extractor and a spring-loaded plunger ejector for positive feeding and ejection. A three-position tang safety and the two-stage HACT trigger support safe handling and precise shot control. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, and there are no iron sights.
