The 870 Express platform uses a steel receiver with twin action bars for consistent, reliable cycling. The 25.5 in ventilated-rib barrel provides a sighting plane along the rib. It is chambered for 2 3/4 in and 3 in shells per the barrel marking. An interchangeable choke system is fitted, and this gun currently has an Improved Cylinder tube installed.
