The Legion SAO configuration delivers a flat single-action-only trigger, an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, a left-side magazine release, and a spurred hammer, all set up for consistent manual control. Chambered in 9mm Luger with a 15+1 capacity, it is the full-size P226 format many shooters prefer.
Construction is built around a stainless-steel slide and an aluminum-alloy frame, both finished in Legion Gray. Front and rear cocking serrations and the LEGION logo are present on the slide. Textured black/gray G10 grips with Legion medallions provide a secure, durable interface.
SIG X-RAY3 day/night sights come installed, with a high-visibility green front dot and a two-dot rear. The slide is optics-ready; note that the cover plate is not present on this example.
The pistol uses a 4.4 in barrel and measures approximately 7.7 in in length, 5.5 in in height, and 1.5 in in width, with a weight of about 34.4 oz. An accessory rail is integrated into the frame. This Legion-series P226 traces its lineage to the P226 design evaluated during the U.S. XM9 trials and is made in the USA.
