The Model 29-2 represents the last pinned-and-recessed engineering change in the Model 29 line, combining a pinned barrel with recessed chambers in the fluted six-shot cylinder. This example showcases those hallmark features along with the correct "MOD. 29-2" yoke stamp and factory barrel rollmarks.
The 6-inch heavy barrel supports excellent balance and recoil control, with a full-length ejector-rod shroud and a serrated top rib. The adjustable iron sights include a fully adjustable rear and a ramped front sight with a red/orange insert for a clean, high-visibility sight picture.
Built on the robust N-frame, this double-action/single-action revolver is finished in blue over carbon steel for both the frame and cylinder. The six-shot fluted cylinder is chambered in .44 Magnum, and the revolver was manufactured in the USA in 1980.
An aftermarket one-piece rubber monogrip with finger grooves is installed, offering a secure, hand-filling hold that complements the revolver’s heavy-barrel profile.
