The Dan Wesson Kodiak is a full-size 1911 in 10mm with a 6-inch long slide and a bushingless bull barrel, built on a steel frame and finished in a distinctive Tri-Tone Duty configuration. It features target-focused sights, an integral accessory rail, and premium controls and ergonomics. Made in Norwich, New York, this model includes two factory 8-round magazines and both the factory cardboard box and branded soft case.
The 6-inch, bushingless bull barrel and long-slide configuration define this Kodiak, pairing 10mm performance with a robust, single-action 1911 platform. The steel frame and slide deliver a solid feel, and the extended sight radius complements the adjustable rear and green fiber-optic front sight setup.
The Tri-Tone Duty finish presents a light slide, dark frame, and bronze-colored small parts. Textured tan/black G10 grips, checkered frontstrap and mainspring housing, and an extended flared magazine well provide secure handling. An upswept beavertail grip safety and a manual thumb safety round out the controls.
Controls and fire-control parts are purposefully selected: a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a solid, serrated trigger with an overtravel adjustment screw. The integral accessory rail on the dust cover supports light attachment. Capacity is 8+1, with two factory 8-round magazines included.
