This Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport III is a recent-release AR-15 platform rifle configured with a mid-length gas system, a 16-inch Armornite/QPQ-treated steel barrel featuring 5R rifling and a 1:8 twist, and an approximately 13-inch free-float M-LOK handguard. This example includes an installed three-prong flash hider and polymer folding backup sights. It is in very good overall condition with an excellent, mirror-bright bore and comes with one 30-round USGI-pattern STANAG magazine.

The Sport III configuration pairs a mid-length gas system with a 16-inch, Armornite/QPQ-treated steel barrel for durability and corrosion resistance. The barrel uses 5R rifling and a 1:8 twist and is threaded at the muzzle; this rifle has a three-prong flash hider installed. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, it also accepts .223 Remington.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard measures approximately 13 inches and provides a continuous top Picatinny rail with T-marks. A low-profile gas block sits under the handguard, and there is no fixed front sight base. Polymer folding front and rear backup sights are installed.
Receivers are forged aluminum with a standard removable trigger guard and include a forward assist, case deflector, and ejection-port dust cover. The rifle operates via direct impingement and features a single-stage, curved trigger and a manual safety. S&W M&P branding is present on the handguard and rail, and the upper carries an A forging mark.
Furniture includes a 6-position collapsible polymer stock with an adjustable length of pull from 10.5 to 14 inches and an A2-style polymer pistol grip. The rifle has a black finish and a 30+1 capacity. This is a recent release from Smith & Wesson and is made in the United States.
