The X95 is a bullpup semi-automatic rifle with AR-style control placement and a reinforced polymer chassis finished in Flat Dark Earth. It features a full-length top Picatinny rail for mounting optics or accessories, and comes configured with a left-side ejection port cover installed for right-hand ejection. A thick dark gray rubber buttpad and an FDE stock complete the factory configuration.
Its factory 18.5-inch barrel is CrMoV steel, chrome-lined, and cold-hammer-forged, with a threaded muzzle wearing an A2-style birdcage flash hider. The barrel is roll-marked 5.56 NATO and MADE IN ISRAEL with a single 'P' proof on the forward section of the barrel adjacent to the '5.56 NATO' marking, just behind the flash hider; the rifle also shows IWI US – Middletown, PA import markings.
The operating system is a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston with a closed rotating bolt. Controls include an ambidextrous two-position safety and a left-side, non-reciprocating charging handle. Capacity is 30+1 with the included PMAG.
This example is customized with a BLK LBL X95 handguard in FDE and a short vertical foregrip installed, while the original IWI factory FDE handguard is included for those who want to return it to the stock configuration. The rifle retains its full-length top rail and a 14.75-inch length of pull.
