Notable details include a green fiber-optic front sight, a small U.S.-flag engraving on the frame, and clear factory markings. It comes with two 17-round Gen 3 magazines, a Staccato soft zip case, the STI owner’s manual, and the factory test target.

The XC configuration centers on a 5-inch barrel with an integrated, one-piece island compensator. Combined with the Dawson Precision tool-less recoil system, it reflects Staccato’s competition-driven 2011 design with attention to shootability and serviceability.
The DPO (Dawson Precision Optic) mounting system is machined into the slide and is currently fitted with a cover plate. The slide also features forward and rear cocking serrations, X-series lightening/vent cuts, and a green fiber-optic front sight for a bright aiming point.
The 4140 steel frame uses a full-length dust cover with an accessory rail. Controls include ambidextrous thumb safeties, a beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonized trigger. The flared magwell speeds magazine changes, and the external hammer completes the single-action setup. The polymer 2011 grip has stippling.
It is a modular, double-stack 2011 platform with a polymer grip bearing the Star logo and a 17+1 capacity in 9mm. The included magazines are factory Gen 3 units marked "17 G3."
Markings include "STACCATO XC" on the slide, "9x19" on the barrel hood, and "STI INTERNATIONAL - GEORGETOWN, TX USA" on the underside. A small U.S.-flag engraving appears on the right side of the frame behind the slide stop. Made in the United States.
