The M400 TREAD is an AR-15 platform rifle with a 16 in stainless steel barrel that is threaded and fitted with an open 3-prong flash hider. Its 1:8 twist rate offers broad bullet weight compatibility, and the mid-length gas system with a low-profile gas block marked "SIG SAUER" delivers smooth cycling.
The free-floating aluminum handguard provides M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, plus a top rail, and displays the TREAD logo. A flat-top MIL-STD-1913 rail is machined into the upper receiver. AR-15 pattern features include the dust cover, forward assist, and shell deflector, and the rifle uses a STANAG magazine interface.
Controls and ergonomics are enhanced by an ambidextrous safety selector and a single-stage polished trigger. The stock is a Magpul MOE SL-K adjustable, collapsible 6-position unit made from polymer, with a 12.5 in length of pull. Receivers are aluminum, and the rifle is made in the USA.
This example is customized with an installed Magpul MVG M-LOK vertical foregrip and ships with a well-rounded accessory set for the handguard. Capacity is 40+1 when using the included 40-round magazine. Sights are not included, and the rifle features a flat-top rail for mounting solutions.
