The action is a Mauser 98–style controlled-round-feed system with a full-length claw extractor, providing positive feeding and extraction. It uses an internal 3-round box magazine with a hinged floorplate, and the bolt features a swept handle with a polished round knob.
The barrel is a 23.6 inch (600 mm) steel sporter profile, finished in polished blue/black. Sights include a hooded ramped front and a barrel-mounted rear sight that is drift- and elevation-adjustable, giving a usable iron sight picture out of the box.
The Bavarian/Lux walnut stock has a hog-back comb, cheekpiece, and cut checkering at the grip and fore-end. It is fitted with a ventilated recoil pad, plus an inletted rear sling bar and a front sling stud. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches.
The square-bridge receiver has integral 19 mm dovetail scope bases, and the rifle is equipped with a single-set, user-adjustable trigger. Bottom metal is matte-finished for contrast against the polished blue/black receiver and barrel.
Markings and documentation include Czech C.I.P. proof marks with an '05 date code, and the CZ-USA Kansas City, KS import mark. A factory test target from Uherský Brod dated 23-02-2000 is included; it bears this rifle’s serial A168932 but predates the 2005 proof year.
