Purpose-built for 7.62x51 precision, this FN SCAR 20S pairs a 20-inch heavy-profile barrel and Geissele Super SCAR two-stage match trigger with a monolithic aluminum upper and full-length T-marked Picatinny top rail. It features a two-position gas regulator (normal/suppressed), a factory three-prong flash hider, and SCAR 17-pattern magazine compatibility. Finished in Flat Dark Earth and marked FN Columbia, SC USA, this example includes a rail-mounted bipod and a 10-round steel magazine.

The SCAR 20S configuration here centers on a 20-inch heavy barrel with a 1:12 RH twist, threaded 5/8x24 and fitted with FN's factory three-prong flash hider. Its two-position gas regulator allows quick selection between normal and suppressed settings, and the short-stroke gas piston with rotating bolt delivers the SCAR's well-known operating characteristics.
The monolithic aluminum upper receiver provides rigidity and integrates a full-length, T-marked Picatinny top rail numbered through the 50s. Additional mounting interfaces include a 6 o'clock Picatinny section and side accessory rail interfaces on the handguard, offering straightforward placement for support gear.
Controls and ergonomics are set up for precision work: an ambidextrous safety selector, a reciprocating charging handle, and the Geissele Super SCAR two-stage match trigger. The Hogue overmolded pistol grip enhances purchase, while SCAR 17-pattern magazine compatibility keeps sourcing mags simple. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazine.
The aluminum stock, finished in Flat Dark Earth, features an adjustable cheekpiece, adjustable length of pull, a bottom Picatinny rail, and a fixed design for a stable shooting platform. Length of pull is set at 13.25 inches. Roll marks include SCAR 20S MULTI-CALIBER, the FN oval, and FN Columbia, SC USA, with a laser-etched QR/data matrix present on the receiver.
