Browning Citori Feather 12 Gauge Over/Under, 26 in Ported Barrels, Invector-Plus, 3 in Chambers, Factory Engraved (1999)
This Browning Citori Feather is a 12-gauge over/under built by Miroku in Japan in 1999 (NN date code). It features the lightweight Feather alloy receiver with steel breech face and hinge components, 26-inch ported barrels, and the Invector-Plus back-bored choke system. Factory scroll engraving with a gold-colored game bird on the underside and a gold Buckmark on the trigger guard, plus a silver receiver and blued barrels, give it a classic Browning look. It includes an assortment of Briley Invector-Plus choke tubes and the original case.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Barrel fit is good, with solid lockup and good life in the locking lug. Firing pins appear good and the ejectors are properly timed. The barrel porting is slightly crooked and not well aligned, likely an aftermarket modification. There are scuffs, scratches, and wear on the metal surfaces. The walnut stock and forend show several scuffs and dings.

The Feather-series alloy receiver keeps weight down while retaining durability at key stress points thanks to its steel breech face and hinge components. The receiver carries a silver finish with factory scroll engraving, highlighted by a gold-colored game bird on the underside and a gold Buckmark on the trigger guard.
The 26-inch barrels are ported and fitted with a ventilated, matted rib topped by a green fiber-optic front bead. Chambers are cut for both 2 3/4 and 3-inch shells, and automatic ejectors are fitted. The monobloc is stamped "26," and capacity is two rounds.
Barrels are threaded for the Invector-Plus back-bored choke system. This example comes with a broad selection of Briley Invector-Plus tubes, providing flexible patterning options across disciplines. A Briley wrench is included for easy changes.
Controls include a single-selective trigger and a top-tang safety with barrel selector. The walnut stock and forend have a gloss finish with cut checkering, a field-style forend, a ventilated recoil pad, and a 14.25-inch length of pull. Neutral grip and neutral cast are specified.
Markings include "Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q.," "Made in Japan/Miroku," and Invector-Plus designations. The NN year code indicates 1999 production. Finish is blued barrels with a silver receiver.
