This Thompson/Center Encore 209x50 Magnum pairs the proven Encore interchangeable-barrel platform with an inline .50-caliber muzzleloader configuration. It features a 26.5-inch blued carbon-steel barrel drilled and tapped for a scope base, a right-hand walnut thumbhole stock with a Monte Carlo comb, and an external hammer. Made in the USA, it includes the Encore's top-tang opening lever and an under-barrel ramrod system.

The Encore receiver provides an interchangeable-barrel system with a top-tang opening lever and single-shot break-action operation. This configuration is an inline muzzleloader that uses 209 shotgun primers with an external hammer for ignition control.
The 26.5-inch carbon-steel barrel is blued and roll-marked for the 209x50 Magnum. It is drilled and tapped for a scope base; two filler screws are installed and two threaded holes are open, and no iron sights are present.
Ergonomics are handled by a right-hand walnut thumbhole stock featuring a Monte Carlo comb and a TC-logo ventilated rubber buttpad. The length of pull measures 15.0, and the matching walnut forend complements the full-size profile.
An under-barrel ramrod with a spring-retained guide and threaded tip is fitted for loading and maintenance. The steel frame and receiver wear a blued finish, and the rifle is built in the USA.
