The 20 inch stainless steel sporter barrel has a plain crown and an unthreaded muzzle. There are no factory iron sights, keeping the top of the barrel clean for optic use with the integral bases and included rings.
The receiver is stainless steel with Ruger’s integral scope mounting bases. The included Ruger 1-inch rings are installed, providing a ready interface for a 1-inch scope tube.
The black synthetic stock includes molded Ruger branding and textured grip and fore-end panels secured by screws. A rubber buttpad, a front D-shaped sling loop, and a rear D-shaped sling loop provide practical field carry points.
The action is a right-hand bolt with a round knob and a three-position safety. Length of pull is 13.75 inches, and the rifle is chambered in .17 HMR. It was manufactured in the United States in 2010.
