Built in North Haven in 1988, this 1894S reflects pre-Remington Marlin production with rollmarks to match. The receiver uses a solid-top, side-eject design and is drilled and tapped at the factory, with plug screws in place.
The 20-inch steel barrel is marked for Micro-Groove rifling and paired with an excellent, mirror-bright bore. Chambered in .41 Rem. Mag., it feeds from a full-length tubular magazine for a 10+1 capacity.
Sighting is classic and practical: a hooded, ramp-mounted front blade works with an adjustable rear leaf on a stepped elevator. This setup provides a straightforward iron-sight picture well-suited to the cartridge and barrel length.
The rifle wears a walnut pistol-grip stock with an uncheckered finish and a brown Marlin hard-rubber buttplate bearing the rider logo. The steel barrel and receiver carry a uniform blued finish, and safety features include a cross-bolt safety and a half-cock hammer notch. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
