The VP9 K A1 configuration delivers a compact 9mm platform with a 4.09-inch, cold hammer-forged steel barrel and polygonal rifling, paired with a 1:9.8 in right-hand twist. This barrel spec is designed for durability and consistent performance with 9mm Luger ammunition.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the paddle-style magazine release and slide-release levers. The striker-fired system uses a trigger with an integrated safety blade, and the grip can be tailored via interchangeable backstraps and side panels included with this example.
The slide is factory cut for optics and comes with a cover plate installed. It incorporates front and rear cocking serrations plus charging supports, providing additional purchase for slide manipulation. Dovetailed open sights are installed front and rear.
Frame features include a polymer construction and a Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail for mounting compatible lights or accessories. The extractor carries a red-painted witness line. Markings include the DE country code, German proof shield, HKI Columbus, GA import mark, and "Made in Germany."
