This Yugoslav Zastava M57 stands out as a 1965-production example with matching serial numbers on the slide, frame, and barrel, identified by its C-prefix. It features an import-added frame safety and PW ARMS, Redmond, WA import marking with an importer-applied serial on the dustcover. What’s Included
- 1x 9-round M57-pattern steel single-stack magazine with witness holes and lanyard loop base
The M57 is a full-size, all-steel Tokarev-pattern pistol chambered in 7.62x25mm. It uses a single-action, short-recoil system with an exposed spur hammer and a Tokarev-style slide stop/takedown lever. Its matte gray refinish is complemented by black ribbed plastic grips with star medallions.
This example was manufactured in 1965, with matching serial numbers on the slide, frame, and barrel, and a C-prefix that aligns with that production year. It also bears an importer-applied serial on the dustcover and a PW ARMS, Redmond, WA import stamp.
Controls and sights are straightforward and period-correct, with a fixed blade front sight and fixed notch rear sight. An import-added frame safety provides an additional control on the frame, as commonly seen on imported M57 pistols.
The 4.6-inch barrel and 9+1 capacity reflect the extended, single-stack M57 pattern. The magazine includes a lanyard loop base, which protrudes slightly when inserted, consistent with the design.
