Built in West Germany by J.P. Sauer & Sohn for Colt in 1975, this Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle pairs a cam-action, triple-lug bolt with a high-polish blued finish and a 24-inch barrel chambered in 7mm Rem. Mag. It features the distinctive high-gloss Monte Carlo walnut stock with right-hand cheekpiece and factory details throughout, along with a detachable box magazine and installed scope bases and 1-inch rings.

Specific Condition Notes: The forend previously had a crack that has been re-adhered. Visible handling marks are present from prior use.

Produced as part of the Colt–Sauer collaboration, this model reflects a short production run from the 1970s into the mid-1980s. Marked "Made in W. Germany by J.P. Sauer & Sohn" and "COLT'S PT. F.A.
MFG.," it represents the West German manufacture and finish quality associated with this series.
The action is a cam-driven, triple-lug design with a non-rotating bolt body and a 60-degree lift. Lightening holes in the bolt body are visible through the ejection port, and the bolt is outfitted with a round, blued knob. Feeding is via a detachable single-stack box magazine for a 3+1 capacity.
The rifle is chambered in 7mm Rem. Mag. and uses a 24-inch barrel. It has no open sights and comes with two-piece scope bases and 1-inch rings installed, ready for the buyer’s optic of choice.
The high-gloss walnut Monte Carlo stock includes a right-hand cheekpiece, contrasting fore-end tip, and a pistol-grip cap with medallion. White-line spacers, border-pattern checkering, sling swivel studs, and a ventilated recoil pad branded "Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle" complete the stock features. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
