This Tisas 1911 A1 Tank Commander is a compact, Commander-length 9mm built on a forged steel frame and slide with true Series 70 lockwork. It features a matte light gray/nickel-tone finish, GI-style fixed sights, and classic double-diamond walnut grips. Chambered in 9mm Luger with a 9+1 capacity, it offers traditional 1911 handling in a lighter-recoiling caliber and includes two factory 9-round magazines.

Built on the proven 1911 platform, this Tank Commander pairs a forged steel slide and frame with a 4.25 in bushing barrel for the classic Commander profile and balance. The Series 70, single-action, short-recoil operated system provides the traditional 1911 trigger feel without additional firing pin safety parts.
Controls include a manual thumb safety and grip safety. A short trigger and a rowel hammer complete the period-correct configuration while keeping operation straightforward and familiar to 1911 users.
The slide is finished in a matte light gray/nickel-tone and cut with rear-only, vertical serrations for a clean, traditional look. Sights are GI-style and fixed, with a blade front and square-notch rear that align quickly and stay put.
Checkered walnut double-diamond grip panels provide secure purchase and a classic appearance. The pistol uses single-stack 9mm magazines for a 9+1 capacity, and it is designated in official rosters as ZIG M9 / 1911A1 Tank Commander, with import markings of TISAS KNOXVILLE, TN and ZIG M9 TURKIYE.
