Built on the AKM platform, this RAK47 uses a stamped steel receiver with a black oxide finish and a forged trunnion, bolt, and carrier. The action is the classic long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt, paired with a bolt-hold-open safety selector. A 90-degree gas block, installed cleaning rod, and bayonet-lug provision adhere to well-known AK pattern features.
The 16.3-inch barrel is 4150 CMV steel and nitride-treated for surface hardening. It is threaded 14x1 LH and fitted with a two-chamber muzzle brake retained by a detent. This setup offers easy compatibility with standard-pattern muzzle devices and keeps the factory brake secure in place.
Furniture includes wood handguards with a palm swell and a reddish-brown checkered pistol grip. The stock is a steel triangular, left-side folder with a 4.5 mm hinge pin and a 12.5-inch length of pull, delivering a compact profile when folded while maintaining a solid shoulder weld when extended.
Sights are traditional iron sights: a hooded front post and an adjustable tangent rear.
