The SB2-series Handi-Rifle is built around a simple, reliable break-action with single-action-only operation and an external hammer. The right-side opening lever provides fast, positive unlocking, and the action automatically ejects the spent case on opening.
The 22 inch barrel has a recessed crown and a matte stainless finish. Barrel markings read "HANDI RIFLE SB2 – CAL. .270 WIN." The bore presents clean with well-defined rifling, consistent with the condition notes.
The walnut-stained hardwood stock uses a pistol-grip buttstock layout and includes a ventilated recoil pad with a white line spacer. A front sling-swivel stud is installed, and the length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
Optics are set up with an installed barrel-mounted base and rings holding a Golden Antler scope. There are no iron sights. A hammer spur extension is installed for enhanced hammer access with the scope in place. Safety is via a transfer-bar system.
Receiver markings read "NEW ENGLAND FIREARMS – MANUFACTURED IN GARDNER, MASS. U.S.A." with U.S. Pat. No. 3,988,848.
A circled "P" proof mark appears on the barrel, and the rifle was manufactured in the United States.
