- 1x 8-round single-stack steel magazine with witness holes and finger-rest floorplate
The vz. 50 is a compact .32 ACP semi-automatic with a fixed 3.8 in barrel and a blowback, DA/SA action. This example is configured with an external spur hammer and a high left-side magazine release, consistent with the model’s period design.
Controls include a manual safety/decocker and a loaded chamber indicator. The slide also carries rear serrations for positive manipulation, and the pistol uses a push-button disassembly located ahead of the trigger guard.
Sights are fixed, with a front blade and a square-notch rear. The frame and slide are blued steel, and the brown bakelite grips have horizontal ribbing and the CZ roundel molded in.
Markings include "CESKA ZBROJOVKA NAR. PODNIK STRAKONICE" with "M 50" on the slide and "MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA." Matching numbers on the barrel and slide add to its appeal for collectors of post-WWII Czechoslovak pistols.
