The Century Arms C39v2 is a 100% U.S.-made AK-pattern rifle built around a CNC-milled 4140 ordnance steel receiver with long exterior lightening cuts and a durable black nitride finish. It features a 16.5 in nitrided barrel with a 1:10 twist and a left-hand 14x1 mm threaded muzzle topped with an installed cylindrical multi-port compensator. This example includes two 30-round magazines, one of which is a Magpul PMAG AK/AKM MOE.

This C39v2 is built on a CNC-milled 4140 ordnance steel receiver and finished in black nitride for a cohesive, durable surface treatment. Receiver markings read "CENTURY ARMS / C39V2 / 7.62x39MM / GEORGIA, VT," with selector markings "S" and "F." The design accepts detachable AK/AKM double-stack magazines.
The 16.5 in nitrided barrel uses a 1:10 twist and a left-hand 14x1 mm threaded muzzle. A cylindrical multi-port compensator/brake is installed from the factory thread, and the rifle retains standard AK sighting with a tangent rear sight and protected front post.
Operating is via a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a right-side charging handle. Controls include a manual safety selector with a bolt-hold-open safety notch, an enhanced trigger group, and a magazine catch for confident magazine manipulation.
Classic wood furniture includes a fixed stock with a rubber buttpad and rear sling swivel, plus a wood lower handguard; the upper handguard is a ventilated metal "cheese grater" unit over the gas tube. An overmolded rubber finger-groove pistol grip with pebbled texture provides a secure hold. Length of pull is 13.0 in, overall length is approximately 37.25 in, and weight is approximately 8.2 lb.
