A. Uberti 1847 Walker .44 Cal Percussion Revolver, 9 in Barrel, Factory Roll-Engraved Cylinder, Italy 2020 Proof
This A. Uberti 1847 Walker is a modern Italian-made reproduction proof-dated 2020, built with a forged steel barrel and a steel frame in-the-white/antique gray (no visible case colors). It features a non-fluted six-shot cylinder with the factory roll-engraved martial scene, fixed sights, and a one-piece walnut grip. The frame is stamped "US 1847," and the revolver comes with a brown leather holster.
The open-top, cap-and-ball design retains the defining Walker characteristics: a 9 in octagon-to-round barrel secured by a wedge and a long under-barrel loading lever. The large, square-back brass trigger guard and steel frame present the classic profile while keeping handling straightforward and familiar.
The non-fluted cylinder carries the factory-applied roll-engraved martial scene, a hallmark detail on this pattern. A one-piece walnut grip anchors the revolver, and it bears a small five-point star mark that adds a distinctive touch to the grip panel.
Sighting is traditional and simple, with a fixed brass front blade and a hammer-notch rear. The revolver is marked with CIP PN black-powder proof and the Gardone proof-house mark, along with a boxed "20" date code indicating 2020 proof, confirming recent production in Italy.
