The Alpha Maxx pistol uses a hybrid polymer/metal receiver set with the U.S. patent numbers 8,789,305 (lower) and 9,068,765 (upper) molded into the receivers. The markings also include American Tactical, Summerville SC and Made in USA, and the lower is marked MULTI-CAL. Selector markings are SAFE/FIRE.
The 7.5 inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a birdcage-style flash hider. The action is direct impingement, and the platform is AR-15 in 5.56mm NATO. A polymer brace provides the rear interface.
The flat-top Picatinny upper includes a standard ejection-port cover and no forward assist. The polymer handguard adds top rail segments and M-LOK-style slots to support modular accessory placement.
Factory polymer flip-up front and rear sights are installed. This pistol comes with two magazines: a Schmeisser S60 extended-capacity 60-round polymer magazine and an Amend2 30-round polymer magazine.
