The PA-15 platform delivers a classic AR-15 layout with a direct impingement, gas-operated system and a manual safety selector. Its flat-top upper provides a Picatinny rail on the receiver, and the handguard has short 12 o'clock Picatinny rail sections at the receiver end and at the front (non-continuous). The low-profile gas block stays concealed under the free-float handguard.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, it feeds from detachable STANAG magazines and is rated at a 30+1 capacity.
The rifle is outfitted with a Magpul MOE Carbine 6-position stock and a polymer AR-15 pistol grip, providing an adjustable 10.25-inch length of pull as configured. Folding front and rear sights are installed for immediate use.
The lower receiver is marked "PA-15 MULTI" with the PSA crest and "PALMETTO STATE ARMORY, WEST COLUMBIA, S.C." The receiver and furniture wear a uniform matte black finish, and the free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard offers versatile accessory mounting while featuring top-rail sections at the receiver and front (non-continuous).
This example includes a 30-round CAA polymer STANAG-pattern magazine, aligning with the rifle’s standard configuration and ensuring ready compatibility with common AR-pattern gear.
