It is the discontinued predecessor to the Taurus 942 series and comes with both an installed Hogue rubber grip and the original Taurus hardwood grip, plus the factory box, manual, and leather carry gear. Please note: the factory end label on the box reads “M941 4'' BL” (Taurus BL denotes blued). The serial number on the label matches this revolver, but the label’s finish code does not match the revolver’s observed polished stainless finish.
Built on a small-frame steel platform, the Model 941 delivers an 8-round .22 Magnum capacity with a DA/SA action and an exposed hammer. A transfer bar safety is employed, and the yoke/frame window is stamped with the model designation 941.
The 4 in barrel features a full-length underlug and a top rib, providing a steady sighting plane and added muzzle steadiness. Sighting is handled by a serrated ramp front and an adjustable square-notch rear on a screw-pinned base.
Factory markings include TAURUS INT. MFG. MIAMI, FL – USA and MADE IN BRAZIL, with import by Taurus International. Overall length is approximately 8.75 in with an approximate weight of 27 oz.
The revolver currently wears a Hogue rubber finger-groove grip, and the original Taurus one-piece checkered hardwood grip with medallion is included. The package also includes the factory box, owner’s manual, a basketweave leather duty holster with retention strap, and a matching belt pouch.
