The compact 3.8 inch configuration delivers a 10mm chambering in a carryable size with 10+1 capacity. The forged steel slide wears a durable Melonite finish, and the black polymer frame maintains the XD-M Elite’s established ergonomics and balance.
The barrel is hammer-forged, match-grade steel with a Melonite finish and a 1:10 twist. Springfield’s flat-face META trigger and a captive recoil system support the platform’s crisp, consistent operation.
The OSP slide is factory cut for optics and ships with a removable cover plate. Out of the box, it runs a red fiber-optic front sight and a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear for a fast, high-visibility sight picture.
Controls are truly ambidextrous, including the slide stop and push-button magazine release. The frame uses interchangeable backstraps (two extras included) and an accessory rail on the dustcover for compatible lights. Safety features include a trigger safety and a grip safety.
