This Wilson Combat Hackathorn Special is a full-size, Government-length 1911 in .45 ACP, built in Berryville, Arkansas as a collaboration with Ken Hackathorn. It features a 5-inch match-grade stainless barrel with a fluted hood, a matte two-tone finish, and thoughtfully executed ergonomics including fine-line checkering, a high-cut under the trigger guard, and a blended magazine well. The factory fixed sights pair a green fiber-optic front with a Wilson Combat U-notch rear. It is in excellent condition and includes two 8-round magazines and Wilson Combat accessories.

This Hackathorn Special is a purpose-built, non-railed Government-length steel 1911 that reflects Wilson Combat’s Berryville, Arkansas craftsmanship and Ken Hackathorn’s input. The matte two-tone finish pairs a dark slide with a gray frame for a clean, functional look.
The 5-inch, match-grade stainless steel barrel with a fluted hood is matched to a slide featuring front and rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and full-length anti-glare top serrations. The single-action, semi-automatic 1911 platform is configured for duty-ready reliability in .45 ACP.
Ergonomics are optimized with a high-cut under the trigger guard, fine-line checkering on the frontstrap and mainspring housing, and a blended magazine well funnel. The G10 starburst grips with Wilson Combat medallions provide a secure purchase and a distinctive appearance.
The fire controls include a medium-length, solid trigger with a serrated face, a skeletonized rowel (commander-style) hammer, a checkered magazine release, a single-side thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety. Fixed iron sights combine a green fiber-optic front with a Wilson Combat U-notch rear for a fast, precise sight picture. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP.
