The 80X Cheetah blends the classic Cheetah series format with contemporary features. Its compact Vertec-style aluminum alloy frame has a textured frontstrap and backstrap plus an extended beavertail for confident control in a small footprint. The 3.9 in steel barrel and blowback-operated, DA/SA action deliver the familiar Cheetah shooting characteristics in a modernized package.
Beretta equips this model with the X-treme S DA/SA trigger system featuring adjustable overtravel and a short reset. Controls are thoughtfully configured with a reversible magazine release and an ambidextrous, frame-mounted thumb safety with decocker. A skeletonized spur hammer completes the control set.
The slide is factory optics-ready with a removable cover plate and wears Beretta's Aqua Tech Shield treatment. Front and rear cocking serrations aid slide manipulation. Interchangeable steel sights include a dovetailed front blade and a screw-mounted, notched rear, making sight service straightforward.
