The Faux Dissipator upper delivers the look and extended rifle-length sight radius of a classic dissipator while retaining a 16 inch barrel. It uses rifle-length, two-piece ribbed polymer handguards and an A2 front sight base that includes a bayonet lug and sling swivel. Left-side forge letters "C" and "F" are visible on the front sight base.
The flat-top upper receiver includes a Picatinny rail, forward assist, ejection-port cover, and case deflector. Iron sights are set up with the A2 front sight base and an A2-style detachable rear aperture sight installed, giving a familiar and dependable sight picture.
This semi-automatic, direct-impingement 5.56 NATO rifle features a threaded muzzle, fixed stock, and an A2-style polymer pistol grip. Capacity is 30+1. It has a standard magazine release, rifle-length polymer handguards, and a 13.5 inch length of pull. The rifle is made in the USA and finished in matte black anodizing on the receivers.
