Ruger SR1911 Lightweight Government .45 ACP, Two-Tone Stainless/Black, 5 inch Barrel, 8+1, 2025, MPN 6792
This SR1911 Lightweight Government pairs a matte stainless slide with a black anodized aluminum-alloy frame for a durable two-tone build that cuts weight without changing the classic 5 inch Government profile. It is a 2025 U.S.-made example (Prescott, AZ markings) with Series 70-style internals, a titanium firing pin with a heavier spring, and Novak-style three-dot sights. The pistol comes in excellent condition with two 8-round factory magazines and the original Ruger case and manual.

The Lightweight Government configuration uses a government-length 5 inch barrel with a standard barrel bushing and a short GI-style guide rod capped by a checkered recoil plug. The aluminum-alloy frame is black anodized, while the slide is matte stainless, delivering a clean two-tone finish.
Controls and ergonomics include a single-action trigger, ambidextrous thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety with a raised memory bump. The trigger is skeletonized and lightened, and the hammer is a skeletonized rowel style. A flat, checkered mainspring housing and textured gray/black grip panels provide a confident hold.
The slide features a lowered ejection port. Sighting is via Novak-style three-dots: a dovetailed front blade with a single white dot and a low-mount, drift-adjustable rear with two white dots. There is no accessory rail and no optic cut, maintaining the classic 1911 profile.
Internally, this SR1911 follows a Series 70-style layout without a firing-pin block and uses a titanium firing pin with a heavier spring for drop safety. Markings include “RUGER MADE IN USA” with the Ruger phoenix logo and Prescott, Arizona location. Magazine capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP, and the factory box label confirms the black anodize/stainless configuration under MPN/SKU 6792.
