The Axis II Stainless configuration combines a stainless steel barrel and receiver finished in matte stainless with a gray synthetic stock. The 22-inch sporter-contour barrel is unthreaded with a plain crown and a matte/satin finish. Chambering is 6.5 Creedmoor, and the short-action format provides a 4+1 capacity via a detachable box magazine.
Savage’s AccuTrigger is user-adjustable and uses a center safety blade, allowing the shooter to fine-tune the pull to preference. The stock includes molded texturing with textured grip panels, a vented recoil pad, and a sling swivel stud. Length of pull is 13.25 inches.
Optics are already in place: a Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 scope mounted on two-piece bases with rings. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and the rifle is configured without iron sights.
