This Commercial M9 is produced in Gallatin, Tennessee, and carries military-style rollmarks including "U.S. 9mm M9 - ASSY 9346487" and "- 65490," along with the oval PB logo on the slide. It follows the non-railed straight dust cover profile and uses an M9-prefix serial format, aligning closely with the recognizable service configuration.
The pistol is a full-size 90-Series build with an aluminum alloy frame (black Type III hard-coat anodized) and a 4.9-inch steel barrel with a black Bruniton finish; the slide is likewise finished in Bruniton. The open-top slide with rear serrations and locking-block operation contributes to the platform's familiar feel and function.
Controls are set up for practical use: a DA/SA action, ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker, and a reversible magazine release. An external spur hammer completes the classic M9 control layout.
Sights are fixed with a single white-dot front blade, producing the dot-and-post "snowman" sight picture. Standard capacity is 15+1, and this example includes two 15-round magazines.
