The P245 delivers .45 ACP performance in a compact format with a 3.9 in hammer-forged barrel and a 6+1 capacity. Its non-railed dust cover keeps the classic P-series profile while maintaining concealability and balance.
Made in Germany, this pistol carries German proof and inspection marks and the SIGARMS INC., Exeter–NH import mark. Its production era spans the late 1990s through the mid-2000s, aligning with the period when compact, single-stack .45s were in demand.
The operating system is DA/SA with a short-recoil, locked-breech design. Controls include the classic left-side slide catch and decocking lever, a push-button magazine release on the left side, a curved trigger, and a spurred hammer.
Construction details include a stamped carbon-steel slide with a pinned breech block, dual roll pins, and an internal extractor, with rear slide serrations only. The black-anodized aluminum-alloy frame pairs with black pebble-texture polymer grip panels. Sighting is via fixed, dovetailed contrast sights.
