The Ronin series blends classic 1911 lines with practical features. This full-size model uses a forged carbon-steel slide with a hot-salt blued finish over a forged stainless-steel frame, creating a durable two-tone presentation. The non-railed frame keeps the traditional profile while maintaining rigidity and balance.
Its Government-length 5 in barrel uses a barrel bushing and GI-style recoil spring plug. The slide adds forward and rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port for reliable operation and easy manipulation.
Sighting is straightforward and fast: a fiber-optic front sight pairs with a Tactical Rack white-dot rear that is drift adjustable and includes a ledge for one-handed slide manipulation. Controls are familiar 1911: a beavertail grip safety with memory bump and a left-side manual thumb safety.
Ergonomics are enhanced by checkered wood grip panels with the Springfield Armory logo, a flat, checkered mainspring housing, and a smooth front strap. A skeletonized Commander-style hammer and a skeletonized three-hole trigger complete the setup. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP, and this pistol includes four magazines. Made in the United States.
