The lower receiver is carbon-fiber–reinforced polymer with "CARBON-15" molded into it, paired with an aluminum upper. This construction keeps weight down while preserving AR-15 parts compatibility. The rifle uses a direct-impingement, semi-automatic action with a manual safety.
Its 16-inch Bushmaster MP-marked steel barrel features a lightweight/pencil profile and a 1:9 twist for 5.56 NATO. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with an aggressive brake/compensator. The carbine-length gas system uses an exposed/front gas block with a fixed sling swivel at 6 o'clock.
The upper is a flat-top Picatinny receiver rail configuration with an ejection port cover and a forward assist. No sights are installed, giving you a clean top rail for your preferred setup. It accepts standard AR-15/STANAG magazines.
