The slide uses rear-only angled cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port. Fixed, low-mount dovetailed sights include a front blade with a white dot and a rear serrated plain notch for a clear sight picture.
Factory markings are correct: the left slide is marked "COLT DEFENDER" over "SERIES 90" with the Rampant Colt logo, the right slide reads "LIGHTWEIGHT," and the barrel hood is marked "COLT .45 AUTO." This U.S.-made pistol carries Colt part number 07000D5 and includes four 7-round magazines, with baseplates on some units marked by Wilson Combat.
