What's Included
- F.lli Pietta 1858 New Model Army Snub-Nose .44 percussion revolver
This snub-nose variant keeps the classic Remington 1858 topstrap design while shortening the barrel to 3 inches for a compact profile. The under-barrel latch retains the cylinder pin, and the barrel is the traditional octagonal form without a loading lever.
It uses an unfluted six-shot cylinder and fixed sights, combining a front blade with a rear notch cut into the topstrap. The revolver is chambered in .44 caliber and marked "BLACK POWDER ONLY CAL .44" for percussion use.
The frame and trigger guard are brass, paired with a blued steel barrel and cylinder for a two-tone brass-and-blue finish. A color case-hardened hammer and smooth white grip panels round out the configuration.
Italian proof marks include the CIP "PN" black-powder designation and the Gardone proof house crest, confirming its origin and proofing. This is a faithful reproduction produced by F.lli Pietta in Italy.
