This Italian-made Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon is a classic field-configured 12-gauge over/under with a low-profile steel receiver, factory scroll engraving with PB medallions, and a coin finish. It features Excelsior high-strength alloyed steel barrels with a ventilated, matted rib and a single brass bead, 3-inch chambers, and a single selective gold-colored trigger. Improved Cylinder and Modified chokes are installed, and the bore shows an excellent mirror finish.

The 686 Silver Pigeon’s receiver is steel with a coin finish and factory full scroll engraving highlighted by PB medallions, giving it a refined, traditional Beretta look. It bears Italian proof marks including PSF and FINITO, along with the BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK, MD import stamp. Country of origin is Italy.
The Excelsior high-strength alloyed steel barrels carry a ventilated top rib with a matted surface and a single brass front bead. Barrel markings include the Italian “EXCELSIOR – HIGH STRENGTH ALLOYED STEEL” rollmark and a chamber stamp “CAM. 76” indicating 3-inch chambers while also supporting 2 3/4-inch shells. The barrel rollmark indicates 26.5-inch barrels.
The action is a break-action over/under with a single selective, gold-colored trigger, and a tang-mounted safety with barrel selector. Ejectors are timed for consistent hull ejection. Capacity is 2 rounds.
The walnut stock features checkering, a pistol grip, and a Beretta-branded recoil pad/buttpad. Length of pull measures 14.5 inches. Improved Cylinder and Modified chokes are currently installed, aligning well with upland and general field use.
