Weatherby’s Model 307 Range XP 2.0 is a recent, U.S.-built long-range bolt gun introduced on January 8, 2025. This .257 Weatherby Magnum version pairs a 26 inch skip-fluted heavy steel barrel with a two-lug, 90-degree bolt-action and a TriggerTech single-stage, user-adjustable trigger. It uses a detachable AICS-pattern magazine system and comes in a durable composite stock with adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length of pull. Receiver markings read "MODEL 307." and "WEATHERBY SHERIDAN WY - USA."

The Model 307 action is a cylindrical, two-lug design with a 90-degree bolt throw and an M16-style extractor for strong primary extraction. The bolt body is spiral-fluted and capped with an oversize cylindrical knob for confident manipulation. Feeding is via a detachable AICS-pattern magazine; capacity is 5+1 in .257 Weatherby Magnum.
The 26 inch heavy-contour steel barrel features skip fluting and a matte finish. The rifle is finished overall in a matte dark tone and ships without iron sights.
The composite stock wears a sponge-style camo in green, gray, and black. It includes an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length of pull, a vertical pistol-grip with textured panels, and sling mounting with dual front studs and a single rear stud. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
Fire control is handled by a TriggerTech single-stage, user-adjustable trigger. A two-position safety provides straightforward operation.
