Springfield Armory XD-S 3.3 9mm Micro, Striker-Fired, Black Melonite, Fiber-Optic Front, 7+1
This first-generation XD-S 3.3 pairs a forged steel slide and Melonite-treated, hammer-forged barrel with a slim micro 9mm format. It features steel dovetailed sights with a red fiber-optic front, an ambidextrous magazine release, and a top-mounted loaded-chamber indicator. Manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory, it bears clear origin and importer markings and comes in very good overall condition with an excellent bore.

The XD-S 3.3 is a micro, single-stack 9mm built around a striker-fired action and a 3.3-inch barrel. Safety features include a trigger safety, grip safety, a firing pin/striker block, and a top-mounted loaded-chamber indicator. The bilateral magazine-release buttons support either-hand operation, and capacity is 7+1 with the included 7-round magazine.
Construction is robust, with a forged steel slide finished in black Melonite and a Melonite-treated, hammer-forged steel barrel. The black polymer frame uses aggressive square texturing for secure handling, and the slide carries rear serrations and the Springfield Armory crossed-cannons crest.
Sight alignment is straightforward thanks to steel, dovetailed sights: a red fiber-optic front and a low-profile rear. The setup is durable and easily serviceable due to the dovetail cuts.
This pistol was manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory, marked "MADE IN CROATIA" and "SPRINGFIELD INC GENESEO IL." It is a first-generation XD-S 3.3 9mm. The serial falls within Springfield’s 2013 XD-S 3.3 recall range; upgrade status is not determined.
