The monolithic MWS upper and two-bolt clamping system allow secure, repeatable barrel installation. This example uses an 18-inch stainless barrel with a 1:11.25 twist for 7.62 NATO (7.62x51), clearly roll-marked "7.62 NATO 1/11.25 SS." Muzzle threads are 5/8x24 and the rifle is fitted with a SureFire SOCOM muzzle brake.
The MARS-H ambidextrous lower provides mirrored bolt catch/release, an ambidextrous magazine release, and an ambidextrous safety selector. The rifle operates via a semi-automatic, direct impingement system and accepts the included 25-round Magpul PMAG, yielding a 25+1 capacity.
Rail space is extensive: a full-length T-marked Picatinny top rail (T2–T46) and a bottom rail (B28–B46) are integrated into the monolithic upper/handguard. Folding front and rear backup iron sights are installed, and LMT tan rail cover panels are included for user configuration.
