The IC-DI platform applies LWRCI’s IC-series architecture to a direct-impingement action, retaining the family’s fully ambidextrous lower with mirrored magazine release, bolt catch/release, and selector. This configuration provides true left- or right-hand operation without aftermarket parts.
Its 16.1-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel is NiCorr treated, as is the gas system, and capped with an A2-type flash hider. The combination is built for durability, corrosion resistance, and sustained performance with .300 AAC Blackout.
The monoforge-style upper features a continuous, T-marked top rail and LWRCI’s modular two-piece clamshell free-float aluminum handguard that bolts together with multiple screws. The rifle includes installed polymer rail panels and a hand stop for added control on the forend.
The Tungsten Grey Type III hard-coat anodized aluminum receivers deliver a clean, uniform finish. Markings include “IC-DI 300 BLK” and “MADE IN THE U.S.A.” on the upper, and “LWRC INTERNATIONAL M6IC,” “MULTI-CAL,” and “CAMBRIDGE, MD U.S.A.” on the lower with a QR/EID label.
The 6-position telescoping stock adjusts the length of pull to approximately 10–13.5 inches, supporting an overall length of about 32–35.25 inches and an unloaded weight of roughly 6.6 pounds. The IC-DI lower maintains compatibility with LWRC piston uppers in the IC family.
