Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The rifle presents in great shape with minor scratches and blemishes visible on close inspection. It was Cerakoted in FDE on the receivers and most furniture; the pistol grip and other components remain in their original black/gray finishes.

Built in the USA and marked “FN COLUMBIA, SC USA,” this SCAR 17S features the RCH legacy layout with a left-side reciprocating charging handle. Controls include an ambidextrous safety selector and ambidextrous magazine release, with selector markings “S” and “1.” A QR/2D matrix code is present on the right side of the upper receiver.
The 16.25-inch barrel is cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, and threaded 5/8x24, with a 1:12 twist for 7.62x51 NATO. It mounts a factory-installed SureFire SF3P-762-5/8 three-prong flash hider and is paired with a two-position gas regulator at the gas block for reliable operation with the short-stroke gas piston and rotating bolt system.
Furniture and layout are classic SCAR: a folding, telescoping stock with adjustable cheekpiece and rubber buttpad, plus polymer lower components. Cerakote in Flat Dark Earth is applied to the receivers and most furniture; the pistol grip, barrel assembly, muzzle device, rails/rail panels, sights, and foregrip are black/gray.
The top of the rifle carries a full-length 12 o’clock Picatinny rail, complemented by 3, 6, and 9 o’clock accessory rails with rail covers installed. Folding front and rear iron sights are included and installed, and an angled foregrip is mounted for added control.
Markings include “SCAR 17S cal. 7.62x51” with the FN oval logo on the receiver, and “MP [FN logo] 7.62 x 51MM 1/12” on the barrel. Capacity is 20+1 and the sale includes two steel SCAR 17 pattern magazines and an additional OEM black buttstock assembly.
