The Galil ACE Gen II uses a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt, delivering smooth cycling with a durable steel receiver finished in matte black. It features an ambidextrous safety selector and carries factory markings: IWI – ISRAEL and IWI US, Middletown, PA.
The 16" barrel has a 1:7 RH twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 loads. It is threaded and fitted with an A2-style birdcage flash hider, allowing easy use of common 1/2x28 muzzle devices if desired.
Modern furniture includes a side-folding, telescoping stock with adjustable length of pull and a free-float M-LOK handguard with slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. A full-length T-marked Picatinny top rail provides ample space for mounting accessories along the receiver and handguard.
This model accepts standard AR-15/M4 pattern magazines and ships with a 30-round Magpul PMAG. Overall length is 35.5 inches with the stock retracted, 38.9 inches extended, and 27.0 inches folded. Weight is approximately 8.3 pounds. The box label notes "Made in Israel & USA – Assembled in USA."
