The 10/22 Carbine configuration here features an 18.5-inch steel barrel with a round profile and plain crown, secured by a fore-end barrel band. Chambered in .22 LR, it runs a semi-automatic blowback action that feeds from Ruger's flush-fitting rotary magazine system for a 10+1 capacity.
The receiver is an aluminum alloy unit finished in matte black and drilled and tapped for optics. Factory iron sights remain in place, with a front blade and a folding rear barrel sight for a straightforward sight picture.
The black synthetic stock is durable and easy to maintain, with molded checkering for grip and integral sling loops for carry options. A Ruger-marked buttplate completes the stock, and the length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
Additional details include a polymer trigger guard/housing and a matte black overall finish. This rifle was manufactured in the USA in 2016 and comes with one Ruger factory 10-round magazine.
