The P211 GTO uses a 2011-style, single-action-only, hammer-fired system with ambidextrous thumb safeties, a beavertail grip safety, and a flat, skeletonized trigger. Its textured metal grip module carries distinctive "GTO" molded panels and feeds from 21-round SIG Sauer factory steel magazines. It uses 2011-pattern double-stack steel magazines and is not compatible with SIG P320 magazines.
The 4.4-inch bull barrel is paired with an integral compensator module featuring a top port. Sig Sauer equips this model with a factory 3D-printed MACH3D compensator, forward and rear cocking serrations, and an external extractor. The slide and frame wear a durable black Nitron finish, and the full-length dust cover integrates an accessory rail.
For aiming, the pistol includes a green fiber-optic front sight and an optic cut with a cover plate. It uses the SIG-LOC PRO optics interface for mounting compatible optics when desired.
Practical details include an overall length of approximately 8.5 inches, height of about 5.25 inches, and a weight around 45.9 oz. A factory 3-shot test target verifies a 0.26-inch group at 10 m, and MSRP is listed at $2,399.
