The Mark II Standard uses a simple blowback action with rear bolt ears for easy charging and a last-round bolt hold-open. Its one-piece tubular upper receiver and open-top ejection port define the platform’s classic Ruger rimfire layout.
The 4.75 in tapered carbon-steel barrel is paired with fixed sights: a front blade on a ramp and a rear notch. This setup provides a clean, durable sight picture appropriate to the Standard model.
Controls include a heel-style magazine release and a manual thumb safety. Capacity is 10+1 with the included Ruger Mark II steel magazines.
Construction is all carbon steel with a blued finish on the frame and receiver. Checkered black synthetic grip panels with Ruger medallions complete the full-size profile. Made in the United States, this example represents the Mark II series from the 1980s.
